Ingredients For Maesri Thai Noodle Sauce
- 1 cup basmati rice rinsed and drained
- 1/2 onion diced
- 1 carrot diced
- 1 green bell pepper diced
- 1 red bell pepper diced
- 1 tsp. ground ginger
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp. honey
INSTRUCTIONS
- Cook the rice according to package instructions. Drain any excess water.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, sauté the onion and carrot in olive oil until softened.
- Add the green bell pepper and red bell pepper and sauté until the vegetables are softened. Stir in the ground ginger, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Add the chicken broth and soy sauce to the skillet and bring to a boil.
- Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 25 minutes or until everything is cooked through.
- Remove from heat and stir in honey. Serve with cooked rice on top
