- 4 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup diced Velveeta cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
In a large pot of boiling water, cook the broccoli florets for 3-4 minutes, or until tender. Drain and set aside.
In a separate pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, add the flour and whisk until a paste forms. Slowly add the milk, whisking constantly to prevent lumps. Cook until the mixture thickens, then add the diced Velveeta cheese and stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
Add the cooked broccoli and sour cream to the cheese sauce and stir to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Transfer the casserole to a baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
