- 500 grams of flat rice noodles
- 500 grams of pork or beef preferably tenderloin or shoulder
- 1 onion chopped
- 4 cloves of garlic minced
- 2 tablespoons of cooking oil
- 1 teaspoon of ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon of fish sauce
- 1 teaspoon of soy sauce
- 6 cups of water
- Salt to taste
- Optional toppings: hard-boiled eggs chicharon (pork cracklings), spring onions, and calamansi (Filipino lime)
Step 1: Prepare the Meat
Cut the pork or beef into small, bite-sized pieces.
Season the meat with salt and pepper.
