- 4 pork chops bone-in and about 1 inch thick
- 4 garlic cloves minced
- 1 tbsp dried oregano
- 1 tbsp ground cumin
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- Oil for frying
In a large bowl, mix the minced garlic, oregano, cumin, paprika, salt, black pepper, lime juice, orange juice, and vegetable oil.
Add the pork chops to the bowl and turn them over a few times to coat them evenly with the marinade. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight.
Remove the pork chops from the marinade and shake off any excess. Dredge the pork chops in the all-purpose flour, shaking off any excess.
In a large skillet or frying pan, heat enough oil to cover the bottom of the pan over medium-high heat. When the oil is hot, carefully add the pork chops to the pan.
Cook the pork chops for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and crispy. Use a meat thermometer to ensure that the internal temperature of the pork chops reaches 145°F.
Remove the pork chops from the pan and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain off any excess oil.
