  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper adjust according to your heat preference
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • In a medium-sized saucepan, combine all the ingredients mentioned above.
  • Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
  • Stir the sauce occasionally to prevent it from sticking to the bottom of the pan.
  • Allow the sauce to simmer for approximately 20 minutes, or until it thickens to your desired consistency.
  • Taste the sauce and adjust the seasonings according to your preference. Add more salt, pepper, or cayenne pepper if desired.
  • Once the sauce reaches the desired thickness and flavor, remove it from the heat and let it cool.
  • Transfer the sauce to an airtight container and refrigerate it for at least an hour before using. This resting period allows the flavors to meld together, resulting in a truly harmonious taste.
