- 1 small onion finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
Heat the olive oil in a medium-sized saucepan over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic and cook until the onion is translucent, about 5 minutes.
