Ingredients
  

  • 1 kg chicken cut into small pieces
  • 2 cups yogurt
  • 2 onions finely chopped
  • 4 tomatoes finely chopped
  • 1 bell pepper finely chopped
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 4 tbsp oil

Instructions
 

  • Remove the marinated chicken from the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature.
  • Heat a large pan or kadhai over medium-high heat and add 2 tablespoons of oil. When the oil is hot, add the marinated chicken pieces to the pan and sauté for 5-6 minutes until they are browned on all sides.
  • Add the prepared sauce to the pan and mix well. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan with a lid, and let the chicken cook in the sauce for 20-25 minutes until it is tender and juicy.
  • Once the chicken is cooked, turn off the heat and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
