Ingredients
  

  • 4 large russet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions
 

  • Wash and dry the potatoes, then cut them into wedges.
  • Heat the oil in a deep fryer or a large pot to 350°F/400.
  • Carefully add the potatoes to the hot oil and fry them until they are golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Remove the wedges from the oil with a slotted spoon and drain them on a plate lined with paper towels.
  • Season the wedges with salt and pepper, or any other seasoning of your choice.

Notes

If you want to bake them, set them on a greased baking sheet, season them, and bake at 425 degrees for 20 minutes, flipping them halfway through.
