Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup of chestnuts
  • 1 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • 1/4 tsp of salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F. Next, halve the chestnuts lengthwise and place them on a baking pan.
  • Roast the chestnuts for 15–20 minutes in the oven until the peel separates off the nut and turns golden brown.
  • Chestnuts erupt if roasted too hot. After roasting, remove and cool.
  • While roasting chestnuts, mix sugar, water, and salt in a medium pot. Praline combination. Whisk until sugar melts over medium heat.
  • After sugar dissolves, let the mixture boil without stirring. Boil till deep amber.
  • Roasted chestnuts conclude the praline. Coat chestnuts evenly and heat for 2–3 minutes.
  • Once the chestnuts are equally covered with the praline mixture, remove the pan from the heat and spoon the praline onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. The praline needs 15 minutes to harden up.
