- 1 pound medium mushrooms
- 4 ounces white cheddar cheese grated
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Pre-heat your oven to 400°F (200 degrees C). Wash and gently twist off mushroom stems. Reserve the mushroom caps and coarsely slice the stems.
Melt butter in a small pot. Sauté the garlic and chopped mushroom stems until soft and fragrant. Add breadcrumbs, parsley, and salt & pepper to taste.
Distribute cheese among mushroom caps. Breadcrumb each mushroom. Bake the mushrooms on a baking sheet for 10-15 minutes until soft and the cheese is bubbling.
