Longhorn Stuffed Mushroom Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound medium mushrooms
  • 4 ounces white cheddar cheese grated
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Pre-heat your oven to 400°F (200 degrees C). Wash and gently twist off mushroom stems. Reserve the mushroom caps and coarsely slice the stems.
  • Melt butter in a small pot. Sauté the garlic and chopped mushroom stems until soft and fragrant. Add breadcrumbs, parsley, and salt & pepper to taste.
  • Distribute cheese among mushroom caps. Breadcrumb each mushroom. Bake the mushrooms on a baking sheet for 10-15 minutes until soft and the cheese is bubbling.
  • Cool the mushrooms before serving. Be sure to eat these White Cheddar Stuffed Mushrooms hot.
