Ingredients
  

  • 1 bag of tortilla chips
  • 1 cup of shredded cheese such as cheddar or Monterey Jack
  • 1 can of refried beans
  • 1 tomato diced
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 1 jalapeno pepper diced
  • 1/2 cup of sour cream
  • 1/2 cup of guacamole
  • 1 cup of diced cooked protein of your choice such as ground beef, grilled chicken, or steak

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  • Spread a layer of tortilla chips on the bottom of a large baking dish.
  • Spread a layer of refried beans over the chips.
  • Sprinkle the diced tomato, onion, and jalapeno pepper over the beans.
  • Add a layer of the cooked protein of your choice.
  • Top with a generous amount of shredded cheese.
  • Bake the nachos in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Remove the nachos from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
  • Serve the nachos with a side of sour cream and guacamole for dipping.
