Ingredients

  • 2 cups of heavy cream
  • 1 cup of whole milk
  • ¾ cup of granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup of Chick-o-Stick candy crushed into small pieces

Instructions

  • In a medium saucepan, combine the heavy cream and whole milk over medium heat. Stir the mixture continuously until it starts to steam, but do not let it boil. Once it starts to steam, remove the pan from the heat.
  • Add the granulated sugar and vanilla extract to the cream mixture and stir until the sugar has dissolved completely.
  • Once the cream mixture has cooled down, transfer it to a bowl and cover it with plastic wrap. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least two hours or overnight.
  • Once the cream mixture is chilled, it's time to churn the ice cream. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn it according to the manufacturer's instructions. This should take around 20-30 minutes, depending on your machine.
  • During the last few minutes of churning, add the crushed Chick-o-Stick candy to the ice cream maker. Let the machine continue churning until the candy is evenly distributed throughout the ice cream.
  • Transfer the ice cream to a freezer-safe container and freeze it for at least four hours or overnight. This will give the ice cream a chance to harden and for the flavors to meld together.
